Fashion show at Colours of Ostrava
The AUVERSUM collection was presented for the first time to the Czech audience at the end of the Colours of Ostrava 2023 festival. The fashion show, which took place as part of the Meltingpot Forum panel, brought the audience closer to the augmented reality hidden in the print of the dresses. AUVERSA authors Helena Lukášová and Lada Vyvialová took part in a debate on sustainable fashion with British designers after the show.
The dresses from the AUVERSUM collection represent a whole new reality of dressing. They combine virtual technology with visual art. The result is a dress made from a smart material whose technology you can not only see, but also control. And this is what CoO participants were able to experience for the first time on Saturday 22 July at the sustainable fashion panel We are what we wear thanks to the AUVERSUMFashion&AR mobile app, which is available for both Android and Apple.
The magic of the whole AUVERSA is hidden in the nanomaterial, in which Helena Lukášová has imprinted her authentic artistic style, hidden in the digital elements of a three-dimensional virtual digital scene, fragments of which appear in augmented reality. The dress itself, made of this fabric, resembles a unique work of art. Its three-dimensionality and virtual form are activated the moment a smartphone is used. Through the mobile app, a world of augmented reality emerges from the dress in front of you.
